Rennie Peppermint is an antacid tablet which relieves indigestion, heartburn, acid indigestion and upset stomach.

Rennie Pepermint tablets are effective fast-acting antacid tablets that neutralise excess stomach acid to relieve the symptoms of heartburn, indigestion and trapped wind. Because they re easy to carry around you can always have a Rennie remedy to hand whenever heartburn, indigestion or trapped wind strikes. Rennie peppermint and spearmint chewable tablets contain two active ingredients, calcium carbonate and heavy magnesium carbonate. Magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate are commonly used as antacids in a variety of preparations. They alter the acidity of the stomach's juices, by binding to excess acid. This decreases the acidity of the contents of the stomach which may in turn help to relieve the symptoms of ulcers, heartburn or dyspepsia. What is it used for? Excess acid in the stomach (hyperacidity) Excess gas in the stomach and intestines (flatulence) Heartburn (gastro oesophageal reflux disease) Heartburn in pregnancy Nausea Upset stomach characterised by stomach pain and burning, nausea and excess gas (dyspepsia) Warning! Adults: 2 tablets to be sucked or chewed as required. Repeat whenever discomfort is felt to a maximum of sixteen tablets a day. Children 6-12 yrs: one tablet as required up to a maximum of 8 tablets a day. Children under 6 yrs: not recommended.
